Interreg IV Italy-Austria is a program implemented under the European Community's territorial cooperation objective for the period 2007-2013. The program promotes equal and sustainable development, as well as the balanced integration of the Italian-Austrian border area.
The Interreg Program is financed by the European Regional Development Fond (ERDF) and by national public funds.
Interreg IV Italy-Austria funds Italian-Austrian cooperation projects, whose aim is the improvement of economic relations, competitiveness, environmental protection, and sustainable spatial development.
