The ID-Coop projec
t, financed under Interreg IV Italy-Austria Programme, involves the Italian provinces of Belluno, Bozen, Udine, and Gorizia, and the Austrian districts of Villach Land, Klagenfurt Land and Völkermarkt. About 800,000 inhabitants, or 40%, of the two million people inhabiting these areas belong to the historical linguistic minorities of the Ladins, Friulians, and Slovenes.
ID-Coop seeks to create an innovative link between these historical minorities and cooperativism that will promote the competitiveness of the region.
